How long does discord keep server nickname changes?

Hello everyone, just a quick question.

From the audit log, I would assume its about a month. Is there anyone who can confirm, that this is also the case for bots/the api?
I find little online specific to this matter, so perhaps someone here has some experience with this.

I believe I’ve looked into this before. Pretty sure it’s either 50,000 entries or 90 days. Whichever comes first 🙂

What you using the nickname tracking for any way? Seems like an odd thing to keep track of

its for a server with my friends, we often change around our nicknames and i wanted to make an excel table for funsies

so i was wondering just how far back that actually goes, as you say, its a rare thing to use

You could just get a listener that checks for any new updates ? Rather than using audit log

that will be my approach exactly. unfortunately of course, that wont account for older names, ill just have to write them down from memory 🫡
