Guide for New Player

Hello,
I'm a new player trying to get into BDO, while choosing a class to main (still not sure about it), I was looking for a guide to understand better the game and not be overwhelmed by a lot of things happening on screen and what to do. Is there one?

Also, is there a tier list or something like that to let me understand in which class is better to invest my time and energy? Mosty likely for PVE.

For the class whatever looks the coolest and most fun for you. It is the way. We can give suggestion about them if you tell us what kind of classes you prefer. Fast or slower paced? Melee or more range? Male or Female? etc.

#new-adventurer pinned message has a simple guide for BDO, but not sure if there is an up to date beginner guide out there at the moment... I prefer EvilDoUsHarm and BiceptimusPrime on YouTube.

Thank you for you answer! I'll try to answer something too: definitely fast paced, probably melee and totally male ahah I was thinking about Dosa, Wukong or Sage tbh even Ninja not bad or Musa

Dosa isn't all that fast paced but a solid class for sure. Succession is Melee while Awakening is more of a Midrange caster. Wukong is very solid too. Awakening Sage is a melee to midrange caster and also a very solid class. Succession Sage has some issues. Ninja is the most high paced class in the game and 100% melee practically. Musa is quite fast paced too and definitely melee. I'd probably start with Musa or Ninja if you want a fast paced male melee class from those options. Wukong is very much fun too ^^

Sage - Dosa - Hashashin

I have tried Ninja and Musa both weapons but nothing clicked, to be fair.

Hashashin I don't like the Awakening tho
Sage I like him both ways but it's a bit slow or am I wrong?
Dosa seems good both ways, a bit less inAwakening

Thoughts about that?

Succession Sage is a bit slow yeah because of class design. Basically a slow heavy hitter that pocket abilities to strike from elsewhere. Dosa is a solid pick for sure.

I really like Awakening Hashashin because of how complex it is, but most don't like that. But I'm biased since its one of the 2 classes that I play most in the game 😂

Awakenign Sage is pretty fast once you get the flow on the class and start comboing/chaining the properly together

Fair! I just don't like that kind of weapon in Awakening, that's it 😆

I might go Sage, I'm tempted... in the end I just switch char and call it a day
