Hello im new and i want to get the basic dye real red, light yellow, and dark gray brown. Is there any way to get specifically these dyes without spending real money.

There is not, sadly. The dye system is very outdated, and still locked behind rng paywalls that no one is willing to pay

Permanent dyes are old system and VERY BAD

Permanent dyes are one time uses when obtained
Pearl shop has rng box for them. Each box has about 96 possible dyes, so getting what you want colour may get very expensive specially if you want black or white colours.

Also very bad about permanent dyes is that if you use a permanent on gear then you will need pearl shop Bleach to remove it as well. Dyed gear cannot be sold in market or if you want to extract/smelt crons form outfit.

We get yearly free permanent dyes only few boxes and it will not be enough for full gear colouring

  • Merv pallet is cheaper than VP
  • But VP has better value overall

When you have save dyes with Value pack then the dyes will be saved in memory, meaning you will lose colours when VP ends but when reactivating you get already ready dyed gear back without resetting it.

Also big note, permanent dyes are limited colouring, while Mervs pallet and VP has unlimited colouring and can use specific colour codes to get what wanted

Yeah, you can say whatever you want about the game in general but they really need to overhaul they dyeing system. BDO is one of the most fashionunfriendly mmo's i've seen in years unless you permanently run a valuepack.

Well game gives lots of costunes
Dyes is only issue
It could be a permanent function instead of monthly to have merv pallet

Or dyes could be craftable via alchemy, giving a lifeskill some extra value
