For AFK fishing in BDO (2025), what would you recommend to a beginner?

Hii! I have some questions:

1. Do I need to make a fishing alt (separate character just for fishing)

2. Do a Season on that alt for extra rewards (e.g. inventory slots, PEN Tuvala, QoL) 🎁

3. Enhance Balenos Rod to +10 (is it easy? do you use Cron Stones?) ⚒️

5. How to sell fish properly

1. recommend - so you doint need to leave your grindspot just to go fishing
2. you can do it but if you want to stay at level 49 (not able to be pvped - its better to just make a normal char )
3. yes - you would mostly need to craft it yourself also for repairing- no cron stones - it has a feature that you pay amount of durability and blackstones to make a guaranteed enhancement
4. velia - best for beginner and also used from veterans
5. fish in velia as example - and sell it in LomL in bukpo - no node connection needed -might swap server to get a better % - i personally dont do that but some do

2)Which class beetter for this Shai or Corsair?

both are fine but imo Corsair is a better pick in case you choose to do bartering (if you keep the character below 50) or sea monster hunting (if you end up going over lv50)
