Hello! This is my gear atm , just finished getting my last Kharazad to pen and want to try elvia trolls since im getting a bit bored of honglim. Is Kabuas > cups > Ator > Kharazad Crystals a reasonable upgrade path ?

hi, i think its pretty reasonable since it will give you the biggest boost when you compare gs per silver, if you are comfortable at honglims trolls shouldnt be problem with your gear.
im not sure what crystal setup you are running but you should make sure you invest in that also to get BiS setup as soon as possible if you dont have it already
and ofc be sure to fully buff always before grinding
