Which Blackstar is next?

Hey, I have mainhand PEN Blackstar. Which PEN Blackstar I should have next? I am planning to swap DEC Tuvala. Not sure which one would be better. Sub weapon or Awakening.

I'd only get the Sov when you have mainhand and Awa Pen BS. Just my opinion though.

You get 12 accuracy and 12 more PvE Damage from Pen BS Awa, and it also "allows" you to play Awa classes without feeling you'll grief yourself if you find a fun Awa class, compared to playing an Awa class with a Tet BS awa weapon.

Pen BS offhand only gives +5 PvE AP and PvE DR compared to Caphras lvl 20 Pen Kutum.

I mean you do you. If you think you'll get more from Sovereign, go for it. You can also get Sovereign by just doing the 4 weekly LoML world bosses. Takes a lot of times, but at 0 cost.

If you don't mind feeling forced to play succession only, the second blackstar mainland seems good. The reforge stones help a lot for PvE, and you can get it to duo relatively easily. If you want to know with a high degree of certainty what is better, try using garmoth.com to compare your gear options. It very much helps to add all of your buffs, crystals, addon ap, reforge stones for sovereign, journals, critical and back attack rates (estimate your back attack rate based off of the spot).

Also you can get a duo/tri godr awakening weapon, but when you upgrade to pen blackstar, you're going to not be able to sell it for a long long, time. I haven't looked at the numbers for enhancing godr after the change, but my suspicion is it still isn't great.

I've been considering the same thing. I play a succession class pretty exclusively, and stats wise it looks like I would benefit more from having the sovereign mainhand with tet awakening as I get more sheet ap

The reforge stones and room for further progression is also attractive with sovereign.

Subweapon just doesn't make sense in any scenario, so that's pretty much out.

Godr might be an interesting option, I'm going to take a look.

Just expect it to be money you never recoup and eventually lose, whereas any gains to sovereign or kharazad will last forever.

Yeah in that respect you’re right, even caphrasing a pen dande makes more sense tbh

i got PEN BS main hand and awakening and a tet main hand 6/20 agris in inventory.
do i go for pen awk or pen offhand?
