Gifts are better with Friends event question

I had a buddy start a free trial because of this event https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-US/News/Detail?groupContentNo=7411&countryType=en-US and they'll get the full game by gifting them something from the pearl shop however it says rewards will be sent after event does that mean he wont get the full game key til after sept 5th after his free trial is over

"* Rewards will be sent after the event period is over." is stated close to the top of the page

Where does it say that they'll get the full game from the event though? Sorry. Still waking up it seems. But yeah. it seems like they'll get the game after the event is over and your friends needs to complete Balenos and Serendia main quests to get the reawards.

Gifts are by the picture i posted

There is a line between the event parts which separates them

If the event gifts would be same as rewards at end of event, then text would be in all event sections or as a big text next to title

Rewards = For helping new/return players = will be sent to code givers end of event
Gifts = for new/return players = will be sent when requirements are done

Well they did all the challenges and nothing yet so we'll have to see what happens after the event
