I'm currently working to PEN my Griffon's helmet, but isn't it better (DP wise) to just reform 4 my helmet and boots? since the amount of resources needed is much less vs Reform 5? and then work towards Reform 5 for each of them.
Note: I will get PEN capotia Earring tomorrow for extra 4 DP.
Also, should i start to put caphra on my red nose?

Ok. Solid plan regarding making your helm and boots R4 then going onto r5, cuz that is really pricey no doubt.
Regarding capotia. Because you're in dire straits, this is a viable band-aid. But it's just that. A band-aid. Capo earrings are generally considered the worst option out of everything 
. But cuz you need the cushion of dp, it's acceptable 
Just know that soon after getting enough dp, you'll replace those earrings

-pen the kutum from Jetina or
-Use a tri godr ayed sub weapon or pen blackstar sub, whichever you have money for
