so i get the material and try to craft it but always tells me that it is not going well so what should I do?

is there anything I want to know before I start gathering the material like a condition to craft it or something

Just do the quest at the blacksmith in heidel for the crystall extraction tool, also for the rebellious you need the 3 lesser crystalls, you can buy them off MP or just get them trough the main quests , mediah/kama/valencia
