Hello, I started playing maybe a day or 2 ago and so far been really enjoying the game more than I expected. I’m at velia right now and can’t contain my curiosity that if I’ll come across any popular social spaces/area’s any time soon, if they even are a thing in BDO ? Like a beautiful city or preferred area to interact with other players, whether it’s in a silly way or smalltalk.

Usually it’s indeed velia rooftops that are popular spaces to converge at

Try doing for Valencia 2 / calpheon 4 sometimes there’s a lot of rpers around

Is that like one of the bigger cities in the game ?

You can also try getting into the rp discords and asking for areas where people congregate

Val 2 and cal 4 are channels

You can swap between all channels with a 10 minute cool-down

(Season and olvia are bit different but for new players it doesn’t matter)

i think there are some on velia rooftops on the kamasylvia 2 channel as well. I sometimes hear their music from my residence
