Level and DPS matters when it comes to loot value?

DPS has been long rumored to be a factor but in all honesty I use alt characters to kill bosses with bare min gear and I get the same drop rate as other guild members with full gear so it is purely random imo.

thats why karanda usually has a lot of afks
but also depending on the fight duration you may not get loot if your hit expires or you don't do enough damage (low bar, mostly when people do like 1 left click)

Dps do affect but its only like 1 to 2% difference alt is fine

I solo killed Behg once and got his boss armor, gunna say the amount of damage you do is an important factor, especially so because in group settings with bosses the highest damage dealer gets boss aggro
