But if you visit any prestigious college in the South, you'll find that the fanatical Christian, inane ultraconservative stereotype is far from the truth, especially in big cities like ATL, Birmingham, Nashville, Charlotte, etc

i have not been anywhere in the south honestly other than texas so idk 😭

first of all jhu is an AMAZING school and its literally perfect for your list. i think a solid, solid safety could be UPitt? it's huge, pretty, and has a very interesting admissions process (no deadlines) but ik its really far away from where you live, esp if it's just a safety. i would steer away from princeton, darthmouth, and brown if you are considering any of the ivies. UPenn is really good for psychology and idk if you know but university of maryland (UMD, college park, specifically) is also not bad. UMD is a HUGE school and very big on lacrosse since theyre number 1 in the country. georgetown is also not bad but their application is so annoying since they have a separate application form. hope this helped (:

w/ your grades alone I'd consider UC colleges along w/ the 5 Claremont Colleges. You might also want to consider CSU SLO or Cal Poly Pomona, as well as San Diego State/ CSU LB
