UMass Amherst is a nice safety
I'd apply for CS there since its the more competitive major
NYU Courant is also super but not in New England
maybe u could do UConn as a safety too
not sure how good they are with finaid tho
I’m not sure tufts would be a target. It has a 15% acceptance rate iirc.
Although it doesn't fit your location well, you could consider UIUC's cs + math or cs + stats program which combine the two major into one and give you a strong foundation on both. It is a reach with around a 4 or 5% acceptance rate as it is a top cs school but if you have strong math ECs it will help a lot
yea fair enough but tufts is p heavy on ED so if they does that they will get a nice boost
Not really no... Tufts acceptance rate is some 9% for class of 2026...
BC class of 2025 acceptance rate, including 2 rounds of early decision, stands at 19%, and it's religious
NYU Courant is great too, and with recent developments they should be more generous with aid
UConn will not give any measurable amount of aid given the OP's household income
Consider Williams
