Skidmore v U of Rochester

Major: Buisness/Economics + Music

Skidmore (1k/yr)
-Surrounding area is nice
-Closer
-Smaller class sizes
-Nice food and good dorms lolll
-Seems less stressful, better student life
-Buisness seems to be more well-developed here
-A little nervous of being a POC (asian) at a PWI
-A lot less options if I end up wanting to change major
-Not sure if Ill fit perfectly in the artsy vibe, although the people I have met thus far have been great

U of Rochester (12k/yr)
-Really good Econ program, which is another major Im strongly considered
-Open Curriculum + Many major options

• My original dreamschool loll (liked the vibe of the students)
• Almost too many asians (might be too comfortable)
• Buisness does not seem to be as strong here
• Admittedly not the strongest student in hs, so idk if I will be able to survive academically
• I would not know my music teacher until I arrive

I really dont know what to choose haha because me being myself is only looking at the price tag oof

I think the main concern would be major change for Skidmore?

I honestly think Skidmore might be better @hard forge but it’s close

Yeah it was really close for me too so I ended up committing to Skidmore because it was cheaper just a few hours ago. Besides, if I really need to do a major change that is not offered at Skidmore, I can always transfer as needed.
