Gettysburg College VS CC for Computer Science + maybe economics

I got accepted into gettysburg and would have to pay around 13k a year to attend and they have a 3+2 dual degree program with columbia engineering to get a degree from columbia in cs and one from gettysburg in mathematical economics

Vs cc which would next to nothing/free for me and i could live at home then try to transfer to a better school

Nah not guarenteed into columbia unfortunately
But washu, rpi, and pitt is a yes

alsoo is money a huge factor? as well as u should also understand u can transfer from gettysburg

and do u think youd genuinely enjoy gettysburg for 3 years?

Also check if ur cc has transfer agreements with ur state schools, because that could be a viable option too

Not automatically anymore but its encouraged to apply if your above 3.3 gpa

Its not too big of a factor since im trying to become a software engineer so should be able to make decent money

Eh only big state school here is rutgers and im not sure if i really wanna go there

If i was gonna transfer id try to go for like usc, uiuc, georgia tech and some other schools

Just so you know uiuc and georgia tech doesn't really give aid to out of state students

I'm also a nj kid so I get not wanting to go to rutgers
They admittedly do have really nice engineering

Yeah i know but ill save enough money going to cc for 2 years to be fine with paying more for uiuc and georgia tech
