hii!! im jessie, a junior in southern california, and im here because im scared collegevine is lying to me… i’d really love if you guys can help find schools that will genuinely accept me for my stats !!!
Location/Region: city, literally anywhere at this point, even international
Major: music business, business, or even urban planning
GPA/Test Scores: 3.3 uw gpa, 1100 sat :/
Curriculum: as long as the professors are thought provoking and i actually learn things, i really dont care
Size: anything with more than 2k/3k students
Costs: less than 30k without aid - even though i will apply for aid my parents are incredibly scared and want the full tuition to be less than 30k regardless
Schools you're currently looking at (if any):
my top choice (at the moment) is music business at cu denver. however im also looking at uic, csula, asu, osu, psu, sfsu, illinois tech, u of o, etc.
Additional: i really do not want to go to a glorified community college, but at this point im finding out that many of my options are just that, i’d love to have some sort of community at college. thank you guys !!

How about miami university (Ohio)? Its slighty more than 30k, but they are known to give a lot of oos scholarships
i'll check it out!! ty
are you going to retake the SAT btw
i recommend it if u have the time since ur still a junior
You could check out some of the SUNY schools like New Paltz, Fredonia, and Geneseo. These are around ~32k for out of state cost of attendance. SUNY Fredonia even has a music industry major https://www.fredonia.edu/academics/colleges-schools/school-business/music-industry
imo a CC would be a better choice than SUNY for 32k
yea im retaking it in june !!
ty !!! 32k is a little much but i’ll definitely check it out
haha i think u might be right 🥲
also keep in mind california cc -> uc transfers being an option
true !!
