My major would be B.S in Computer Science or Computer Systems Engineering starting Fall 2022.

I have shortlisted my options to Arizona State University and University Of Cincinnati.

Pro of Cincinnati-
1.I am considering Cincinnati due to what I have heard about the Co-OP programs which are mandatory and could help me in landing a very good job easily.

Con-
1.Got to know that the curriculum based on the second year is very much theory and cannot be supportive untill put in a lot if efforts.

Pro of Arizona-
1.Very reputed and also have the option to go into Barrett honors right now as well.
2.Very supportive in terms of helping ideas become reality.
3.Lots of my seniors from high school study there,who can help me out incase of any issue.

Cons-
1.Internship opportunities are low.

Arizona State and Cincinnati are both offering me the same scholarships.

Weather does not affect me much as I can manage it.

Finances also work out very much to be the same.

A lot of Indians are there at both the Universities,which is another similarity.

Also,I want to try to get into Stanford for my MS.Kindly consider this as well.

Hmm just wondering what you mean by "internship opportunities are low" what if you pursue it yourself instead of relying on on-campus recuitment events

i dont know anything about u of cincinnati but if the co op program is your only pro im not so sure about that. most colleges will have lots of networking opportunities for you to find internships anyways. i think asu is one of those schools who is quickly improving in rankings especially in cs, so i lean asu

I gave gotten into the honors college at ASU.
Lot of people say that it's good and as many that say it isn't.
Any help in this regard?

You're Indian right? back home you (and I formerly) are forced to follow fixed course selections

with the honors college you'd be able to pick out many classes you'd like

No! I mean its better because you get to pick the coruses you want on a priority basis

Say there is this programming course that everyone including you likes so there's a lot of demand for it but limited seats

Oh, I studied in India until 10th grade, finished my boards and came to the US for 11th 12th because of fathers work transfer.

I mean the cost turns out to be an extra 5 lakhs,but could reduce it with a few Scholarships
