Are you in state for UT
Also for UT you will still have abundant research opportunities, have you applied to their Freshman Research Initiative yet? If not, chop chop
Nice, that’ll give you some access to research opportunities
yeah i j dont know what to pick lol
UT Austin
this is the best for you for price and experience
experience?
student experience
oh is it better at ut than the other 2
i think
due to the proximity to Silicon Valley #2, weather, people and networking
NEU is expensive, and Tulane isn't focused enough. Also both are expensive
focused enough?
makes sense
well pre med silicon valley doesnt really matter
yes
well med opportunities in metro areas are good
I thought you were BME for some reason
oh lmao
the other 2 don't seem to offer much extra opportunity
Wait @fringe raptor for which major are you admitted for UT
You said NEU is NUin and Tulane is Public Health but what about UT 👀
sociology
is it hard to change majors?
For the College of Natural Sciences, it's mostly doable, afaik over 60% of people get to change ---- assuming you'd like a common major for premed, such as bio, biochem, neurosci, public health, because computer science internal transfer is hell on earth
i wanted soc before but that research thing and more opportunities seem to be with cns
can i change it before my freshman year
I think you need to complete 24 hours in resident before you can change your major
Of course, you can do premed with any major
Psychology is also within the college of liberal arts
Although, psych is restricted
Now it’s between ut and Tulane
