berk is 35k/yr, pomona ~70k, washu ~80k
berk
unless you can afford the others
even then
berk’s transfer to cs might work out for you
berkeley
if you want to declare l&s cs and you are a smart person, you should have no problem getting it with the right gpa
to my knowledge berkley right now doesnt care if you were cs intended or not, you can declare as long as you have 3.3 gpa in some three cs classes (61a, 61b, 70). they have been thinking about changing this policy but not for fall 2022 yet
got it, thanks
what would you say if cost did not matter (it does in my case bu im just curious)
not @ ed but probably berkeley unless you want a private school education or are into liberal arts
pomona is also very good, but not really known for CS
i love the campus of the 5Cs, they're just amazing
Even though you're not coming in as CS, you can go for Data Science i believe if they do end up closing off CS. Im not sure how WashU or Pomona is for CS. Probably WashU>Pomona and I'm assuming that's Pomona College.
I think CS is the top major for Pomona, but dont go if you pay $70k a year yikes
WashU is more located and isnt really known for CS…so your best bet is Berkeley is and try to transfer to CS
i could also conceivably do an applied math + cs double to circumvent policy change at berk
Yeah, the more I think about I'd go Berk
indefinitely
