  • 12k merit aid
  • nice campus
    cons*
  • more known for a stem and research-based school
  • not ideal weather, next to river and canada = FREEZING = bad social life
  • private school = $ (not sure how much yet)

    pros:*
  • very affordable. pay close to nothing bc i'm low -income
  • nice career development center
  • great value for its cost (biz degree comes to no debt
  • ideal location (nyc) + opportunities - great for internships, access to alumni, networking - always liked the busy atmosphere
    cons:
  • 1.5 hr train + bus commute 😦
  • social life is hard (city, commuter school)
  • plan on getting an apt (expensive af)
  • prestige isn't that high (not as well known)

    pros:
  • actual campus lol
  • social life + community
  • "#1 public ivy"
  • selective biz program
    cons:
  • $14k a yr
  • up-state = not much to do
  • got rejected from biz school there and got guaranteed transfer in the spring if a 3.5 gpa is maintained (apparently is p difficult).

Ive heard really good stuff about baruch’s buisness program, so I dont think u should worry too much about its prestige. It just sucks it has such a long commute... Also hope rochester fin aid comes out well!

I think Binghamton might be a decent option, as u can prolly fall back on econ on the chance that u fail to get a 3.5 gpa. Although wait for rochester fin aid and hopefully that comes out really well!

I see! It’s really up to u in the end but dont feel like u have to stay in nyc for buisness if u are not a fan. While it is true that it would probably be the easiest, just on the east coast, Boston is also a great option to consider working in for Buisness
