Schools: Carleton College, Boston University, and Emory Oxford College
Intended major: Probably econ, Quantitative Sciences at Emory

BU Pros:
—Location - I love Boston
—Tons of things to do, ppl to meet
—Tons of majors if I change my mind, like math/econ combined
—Dual degree program, can major between colleges (could do econ + IR dual degree)
—Better food than Carleton
BU Cons
—Bigger class sizes, harder to get to know professors (I currently go to a small high school with small classes)
—Campus is a street, not many green spaces

Carleton Pros:
—I like the people I've met from here
—Small class sizes, easy to talk to professors
—Long winter break (6 weeks) - cool opportunities during this time like externships where they set u up with an alum to work for a few weeks or time to travel
—Can bring car after Freshman yr
—Has a real campus and community feel
Carleton Cons:
—Northfield, MN - not much to do off campus
—Size may be a bit small
—Can’t double major without doing 2 final projects senior yr which would suck
—Can't do much outside during winter - I like the winter, but prob not when it's 10 degrees every day

Emory Oxford Pros:
—Really cool/my favorite academic program (quantitative sciences w a ton of different concentrations)
—Probably the best school to set me up for the future?
Oxford Cons:
—Don't really want to live in rural Georgia for 2 years
—Didn't really vibe when I visited
—Hot/humid weather

Tiebreaking considerations:
I'm going to admitted student events at Carleton/BU
