  • Strong economics program
  • Prestigious
  • In state tuition
  • Beach!
  • Californian weather
  • Good public transport
  • Good teachers

School 2 Cons:

  • Very big class size
  • Econ 10A
  • Maybe too competitive?
  • Weaker alumni network
  • Not as good career center
  • Not as interested in economics program

What do you want to do in business? If something like investment banking or consulting, Bucknell's and UCSB neither business schools will really give you an edge because they arent targets. I would say UCSB because tuition and the parties there must be awesome with the size and location.

Target schools are schools where the vast majority of top banks conduct on-campus recruiting or specifically allocate spots for that school.

yeah finance and consulting are some of the only careers that care about your undergrad

i will add that since im from the philly area, a good amount of people here go to bucknell and like it a lot
