Similarities: Both are in the northeast, have similar acceptance rates and levels of rigor. I also am fine with the UG population of both.
Lehigh University
Pros:
•Beautiful gothic campus
•Got into their CSB program, which sounds really appealing.
•Other great educational opportunities
•Stronger in STEM (I think?)
•Heard the food is also good
•Higher Niche ranking.
Cons:
•I'm a bit nervous to go to a school that's big on partying like Lehigh.
•Allentown I heard is depressing, and not a big city like Boston.
•Hilly campus so lots of stairs I guess.
•Slightly lower US News ranking, but still a T50.
Brandeis University
Pros:
•Really nice, friendly, and easygoing community from what I've heard.
•I'll likely be going there with two of my close friends from school, as well as @brisk tartan and others I met on the Brandeis discord, who all seem really cool.
•Waltham is neat, but it's closer to a big city (Boston).
•More convenient transportation options
•I'm not seeking financial aid but I got a 10.5K a year scholarship.
Cons:
•Food is mid from what I've heard.
•I'm not Jewish
•Past me used to HATE Brandeis because my mom shoved it down my throat as practically my only college option. I don't mind it now as my mom stopped doing it.
•Campus got a D- on Niche, though I thought it was fine. (It also has a 1/3rd lower Niche ranking, but slightly higher on US News)
•IDK how to feel about going to a school with two close friends from my old school.
