Hi Y'all, Here's what Im looking at
University Of Texas-Austin
Pros:
Very Pretty Big Campus/Austin
Slightly Cheaper even though I'm OOS
Good academics
Far away from home/Allows for new expirences
Fairly strong econ program and poli sci
Gives me recourses/clubs
Cons:
Some classes might be too large
Is LSA econ very good in Texas?
What is the vibe?
William & Mary
Pros:
Moderate size (more attention but not super small)
Somewhat near DC/Has programs in DC
Pretty campus/Willamsburg nice
Good academics
Seems to have a nice academic vibe
Far enough away from home
Could be more focused on say history or poli sci
Has a good enough amount of clubs
Cons:
Hate driving (would mean more driving)
Doesn't have poli sci minor (found that out in an interview oops)
Smaller size could mean less things
Prefer Texas' campus
Tiebreaking considerations:
My main things are how good are the econ or poli sci programs each school has, the vibe of the college and really which one can help me land a job better.
