(a) colleges factor in anything you tell them -- if your GPA was low bc you were somehow uniquely affected by COVID (you developed depression/anxiety/etc, a family member died/was severely affected, you didn't have good internet/a good computer, etc), they will DEFINITELY take that into account. they're trying to get a gauge at your academic competence -- if it was something you couldn't control, then it doesn't implicate your ability to do well academically.

(b) you should check out:

  • stanford
  • UMich (ross business school is really really good!!)
  • Vanderbilt

it's founded by jesuits and has a jesuit background, but it's not a "religious college"

ohh

#

i know it sounds kinda racist

#

but im tryna limit my whiteness in college

#

less white people the better

#

(no offense)

i don't take offense, and i honestly agree w u. but, in general, if you think someone might take offense, saying "no offense" would probably not mitigate any offense that they would take -- in other words, if the content of what you're saying is offensive, appending "no offense" is unlikely to help.

# nocturne smelt ahhh im probably going to apply to UMich, vanderbilt isnt that great for busines...

umich: 52.2% White, 13.3% Asian, 6.51% Hispanic or Latino, 4.26% Black or African American, 4.01% Two or More Races, 0.152% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.0333% Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islanders.

BC: 56.1% White, 9.83% Hispanic or Latino, 8.94% Asian, 3.99% Black or African American, 3.17% Two or More Races, 0.061% American Indian or Alaska Native, and 0.0271% Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islanders.

#

def not the same, but relatively similar

#

idk if that knocks both out for you, or would put BC back in, but the fact that they're similar should mean that you don't solely apply to one of the two.
