i’m not sure exactly how competitive u wanted ur schools to be but heres some recommendations:

  • George Washington University (47%, Covers tuition for families making under $100k and half for families making under $150k, in dc though they have a campus separated from it but still nearby)
  • Harvey Mudd College (13%, close to LA but in suburbs, meet 100% of demonstrated need)
  • Boston College (14%, about like 20 mins from boston, highly ranked in biology)
  • University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (like 20 mins from durham, they don’t publish oos stats but it’s pretty low like 10%, meet 100% of demonstrated need even for oos)

For premed the school it doesn't really matter where you go as long as it's as cheap as possible.

I will say CLS isn't the best major just because it's more of like a preprofessional degree for people who want to go directly into an allied health profession so it won't give like the liberal arts education that other majors in like the college of arts and sciences would

Can you do the net price calculator for Oberlin College? It's a helpful gauge for how generous schools that say they meet 100% demonstrated need will be with their aid

And then maybe check it for Lehigh University, too

I see! It was brought up to me as an option, but after looking into it some more myself I wasn't 100% sure and still leaned towards a bio major. Good to know, I'll update my request accordingly

but again it may be overestimating because I left some points blank and I think they automatically registered as 0
