I would normally not look at big publics for interdsciplinary interests. I feel like they pigeonhole you a lot more. I'd be looking at liberal arts colleges

I mean, your interests aren't like... crazy wide across disciplines

#

like they are on the same branch of the tree

#

rather than like music and chemistry or something

yeah i agree but people are surpised when i tell them thats what i want to major in 💀

but it can also be harder to get research and close relationships with professors at huge universities where your lower level econ classes will have like 300 people

Tufts for sure

#

They’re super big on interdisciplinary

#

Harvard of course, Pomona/5Cs in general (you might like all of them to be honest definitely look into it)

#

Barnard is a great womens college in NYC

Dartmouth would be up that allet for sure. Amazing ECON department, has a quantitative social science program, public policy minor

oh, missed that you really want a math/social science overlap, so yeah, QSS would be amazing. Plus Dartmouth has an amazing debate team

Fact of the matter is, this is a popular and usually strong area for a lot of LACs

Emory has the QSS major (but if you have a strong math background I would recommend taking the grad level version instead, they're not super math intensive)

#

You could also major in this and take econ/policy electives: https://acms.washington.edu/program-requirements-and-information

Not too sure as I'm international, but from what I know, brown's got their open curriculum program which may suit what you're looking for

In terms of flexibility and constructing your course and whatnot
