I am confused between UF (COA is $50K) and ASU (COA is $60K) for CS
All the rankings I have looked up online show the ASU program to be ranked higher than UF. But at the same time ASU has a bad "party school" reputation idk if that will affect my job chances later on after graduation. UF seems to be more academically inclined? UF is 10K cheaper annually. but ASU is located in phoenix, a tech hub so getting a job should be easier. Idk what to choose.
#UF CS vs ASU CS

Uf is the best school in Florida and makes employment there incredibly easy due to being a well known name
Should more than counteract not being in Phoenix.
Also dont listen to program rankings, uf is a much better school in general. Both are party schools though but yes uf is more academically inclined
Also its cheaper so like….obviously go there
thank you mate
Also is UF a good pipeline to tech companies in tampa or miami?
Yah
UF is very good for stem in general and is kind of ubiquitous in florida
