Schools: Wellesley, Pomona and Vassar
Intended major: Applied Math or Anthropology
Similarities: Financial aid for internationals, LACs
Costs: Aiming for full aid package (as an intl)

I have legacy at Pomona and I do love the location but when I researched the school it didn't really click with me which is why I'm hesitant on ed2ing there. Also I don't really want to be in close proximity with my annoying sister in college :)

I somewhat like Vassar but heard its social scene is not so great? (and the weather is horrible) However, it has a great campus and is close to NYC. Plus its acceptance rate is higher than the other two so maybe ed2 is the most strategic move?

Wellesley is prob the school I love the most out of this list, it has great location and academics but is so hard to get into. Plus my mom is against me going to an all womens college 😔

dont throw away ED on a school that isn't your "number 1" choice, even if it is "ED2"

don't play ED like strategy

if wellesley is your #1, you'd go there over all other choices if you got accepted, ED2 there

like squirmy said, ed2 to your #1 choice only, otherwise apply RD. obviously that is a conversation to have with your mom about whether ed2 to wellesley is an option for you and you probably need to have that convo asap depending on when your hs goes on break

I think Wellesley will have more resources for you compared to Vassar, which doesn’t have the best (though they’re OK) math or anth programs
