but grinnell alone while im sure their CS curriculum is good im less sure whether they have a structured tech pipeline

however grinnell may do much better in sending students to top CS PhD after which you may end up in tech

that being said the whole tech job market is in a seemingly endless slump rn where let alone grinnell cs grads even berkeley uiuc cs grads are struggling

some people do dislike it for practical reasons (like having to deal with our RLO, the cost of on-campus housing, the cost of the meal plan that they require us to have)

and there are some problems with the amount of housing we have on campus that could probably be ameliorated by allowing more people to not live here

but idk i think it’s better than not

if i wanted to go to a school where 20% of people commuted i would’ve gone somewhere else

Uga doesn’t require meal plan which was surprising to me, but it’s also “forced” required because it’s suburban and 90% of time u have to be on campus

Grinnell is going to stronger for counseling services, personalized learning, stuff like that

a lot of LACs are very "preprofessional" where they're great for transitioning into further programs but if you're looking at doing a standalone degree you might be better off going with a more known university
