wait guys i need some help so basically i accepted my offer to wellesley on the day before wesleyan come out bc i have deposit waived n i got into wesleyan w a full ride + offered to do their flyin cardinal overnight event for free n they covered my flight n everything n they alr booked my flights. Up until then that’s when i know school can funded flights and stuff so i emailed wellesley asked if they funded flights and today wellesley got back to me that they’re reviewing my request and will get back to me. But wellesley admit day is april 11 and wesleyan is april 12 and im flighting from my location to wesleyan on like midnight of april 11, so what am i supposed to do cuz i still haven’t visit either school and feel the need to actually did their admit program to know for sure which one to choose😭

i know it is difficult because now they will be expecting five years of accomplishment rather than four, one without the burden of high school…

get involved in local government + organizations in anyway you can, my friend took a gap year and she didnt really apply to many places but she got pretty good aid from our local private

community is always a big thing for LACs I feel and that's what drew me to them in the first place so whatever can be done to show community engagement is probably the best bet

my college admissions journey is basically almost over and i had some thoughts

i just realized the only reach schools that didn’t straight up reject me are lacs. so lacs gave me so much hope throughout this grueling process and for that i’m grateful

even if i didn’t get into a lac, i think they will always have a special place in my heart. through the process of researching and applying to them, i’ve learned so much about myself, and that’s what matters in the end.

Can I have some advice? Pending I don't get off of any waitlists I'm probably gonna go to William and Mary in some capacity. I'd either do 2 years there as part of their dual degree program at st Andrews or all 4 years at William and Mary. The main reason I'm torn is that I want to do whatever sends me down the best path for law school. I also would likely have different major as the dual degree program does not offer a government major so I'd major in English there. I l love both subjects though so I'm really happy with either.
