Pitzer is focused on social justice and mobility. It’s embedded into its curriculum, you need to do at least one volunteering project with a local community organization to graduate. That attracts many of its applicants

Scripps doesn’t really specialize as much as the other members but it’s a solid women’s college and that may be an environment some prefer, it’s a good perspective to have when building a college consortium
