SLACs are great for grad school goals yeah. Because grad school admissions want letters of recommendation and projects youve done in undergrad, which are easier to achieve if you have closer connections with your faculty. Closer connections also mean more guidance for grad school admission tests such as the MCAT and LSAT.

But small school environments are an advantage to a lot of academics in general, not just grad school ambitions. Many LACs specialize in academic subjects that dont necessarily feed into grad programs, like Harvey Mudd and engineering, or Williams and Amherst and finance

The well-rounded education you receive at an LAC is beneficial for most any career path, really

dont ask "whats the faculty:student"

u can ask alumni network, honor codes, unique campus culture... etc (but I think its best to say "I've heard that ___ is ____. What was ur experience about __")

This way, ig they can tell that ur rly interested in this institution
