yeah i have pretty much decided against jhu because firstly the point you made and the secondly there were only about 20 EE majors who graduated last year from jhu so its a pretty small class size which isn't particularly good for connections and the alumni network wouldn't be that big compared to other schools. also i value industry placement and startup funding alot more then research and jhu is a very research heavy school with most people being in their masters program which i don't plan to do

oh cool so then if the big city experience matters to you then maybe look more into NU. Duke and NU are very similar, but since I am not going into engineering I honestly wouldn't be able to provide you details about the academic part. Currently I'm leaning towards NU for biochemistry since while they both rank similarly I feel like NU has a better location, campus, and a more inclusive community
