hi love! so waitlists really have a lot of moving parts to them. one of them to remember is these institutions have things called institutional priorities where they are looking for certain things that are valuable and desired by the university. this could be geographically, major, etcetera! these universities will get an idea after may 1 what the yield looks like and probably evaluate what they need to do. ex. they maybe got nobody from minnesota to yield, but they have someone on the waitlist from minnesota, so they may get in.

there r so many parts of a waitlist, but ur job right now is to make sure brown knows u are interested and continuing with ur current academic stuff. u can submit it within a week, that should be fine, just make sure u make the deadline!
