from what I saw online auto really doesn't give you that much of a boost getting into your major all it does is if you get denied your major, you're guaranteed to get in liberal arts or you'll be considered for your second major if you're non-auto though apparently they don't consider you for your second major and you just flat out get rejected but either way when you're applying for your major, they look at your application holistically so there's really not gonna be a difference between someone who's 5% and 6%
