If I’m postponed, when will I get my decision?

If you’re admitted, you’ll receive a decision in January with EA applicants (except Taubman applicants). If you’re not admitted EA, you’ll receive a final decision during RD. Note that you can be admitted during either EA or RD when postponed during ED.

Can I be waitlisted even after postponement?

Yes, both ED and EA applicants can be waitlisted after postponement. If this ends up being your case, you’ll receive your waitlist decision during RD.

Are postponed ED applicants prioritized over postponed EA applicants?

No.

What should I do if I’m postponed during ED or EA?

You can optionally (recommended) submit an Expression of Continued Interest Form through your Enrollment Connect portal no later than March 1st. You will be given a text box to write up to 250 words to express continued interest, let the admissions office know about new achievements/awards, and/or share additional information about yourself. Your school counselor may additionally submit your mid-year report to Michigan of any grades available before Mid-February.
