1. There’s enough prestige for it to be considered decent-good, but it’s still relatively new so it’s not gonna be as big as other colleges
2. I heard that in terms of prestige nyu kinda mogs over rutty (tho this was from an nyu prof so kinda biased) but I’d say it depends on how much you value cost in general
3. Outside scholarships or sum idk there’s not rlly too many merit scholarships that nyu has cuz they’re stingy asf

yes it’s very very easy to transfer to cas, the only problem being that you gotta wait a year to apply
yea nyu in general is pretty selective in RD, for Tandon it might not be stern level of competitiveness but it’s still good

Honestly, I think NYU would crucify you. They aren’t exactly known for giving the best aid(from what I have heard). The tuition for NYU this year was 100k per year, so you are definitely going to need to initially apply for aid given your financial situation.

My application was good enough for nyu, but I'm 99.99% sure that one of the major reasons I got in is because I didnt apply for financial aid
