berkley grads are more likely to continue in academia, but the ones who don't typically work in silicon valley

GT grads are working literally everywhere, this school has almost unmatched job placement

i can basically gurantee you that if you work at any medium+ size tech company, GT grads will be there

Yeah even in LLCs you still have to apply for housing but you can apply to either live in your llc housing OR different on campus housing

Not sure if choosing one over the other increases your chances but at least within honors I think the majority of people who wanted to re-live in honors housing were able to get it

But that might also be because we took over another building to add more bed space for honors

2. "priority" on classes. a VERY limited set of intro courses (i know of physics and that's it) have an "honors section" that is reserved for honors students. for 99.999% of the classes you take at GT, there is no honors priority

They told me for the Stamps Scholar or Gold Scholar it’s not actually a ranked list

It’s more like groups

They group people into different categories based on a rating system they had on interviews

And then they’ll look at applicants contextually

Such as whether or not they lost someone in state vs out of state, to pick who will get bumped up

I’m pretty sure I saw people on Reddit who didn’t make it to the fly out and still made it in the end after they got bumped up

So I wouldn’t lose hope!

And obviously if MIT admitted you, you gotta be an amazing applicant already
