and the above only really applies to like ap/ib/a-level exams i think, i dont think college credit would count but you'll have opportunities to test out of courses during the summer

for context I took IB and the only thing that my IB exams managed to fulfill was a language req that gave no credits

the first half of the course was mass transport and we derived fick’s laws from pretty much scratch, starting with a random walk, getting to brownian motion, etc

then for heat we derived the radiative heat equations from integrating (i think planck’s law?) over wavelength

lots of derivations but i didn’t really like that part

we also had to do some of the approximation derivations on the first exam, like we did this one ridiculous math trick where we used the orthogonality relations of sine and cosine to collapse a series to solve for the terms of a series solution
