i think theyre really factoring in ur region and what ur background is when evaluating ur ecs

i think if ur in a region with way more resources theyre gonna look at that i think theyre deferred way more cracked ppl who were usually ppl that would have gotten in past years

esp if ur school isnt a feeder with legacy applicants and u have a lot of rlly cracked kids i think it makes more sense for then to just defer and spend more time looking later

ppl without hook arent gonna get any boost in REA tbh and from what im seeing u prob have better odds in RD when majority of the REA spots are gonna be filled up by ppl who have the hooks

• campus is beautiful. incredible to walk around
• resources are plentiful. like several times i just walked into the career office to get my resume looked after. theres also a bunch of programs to get you put onto research mentorship and internships (some only offered to princeton students)
• alumni network is great. my aunt said she got a shadowing opportunity just by reaching out to alumni and she show princeton students around her work whenever someone reaches out
