You've probably heard "hey I didn't get in and it worked out fine" a thousand times before, so I'm not going to stick with that since I know it doesn't help
What I will say is that, even though this is a really significant moment for you, I promise this moment won't define your future, even if you get rejected
That doesn't mean that your work was for nothing, or even that you wouldn't be better off at your dream college, but that you've worked really hard to get where you are, and that you'll almost certainly do well, with or without MIT
At the end of the day, it's just a college. One that admittedly has a ton of opportunities and cool things to do, but you'd be really surprised by how many other places you can find that in, even if it's not what you'd expect at first glance
So please don't stress over this that much - take care of yourself, you'll be okay ❤️
