my parents were at an airbnb close to campus and the person shot ran into the yard of their airbnb and when police and paramedics came they were helping the person right in front of my parent’s door

but i think the worst part for me was just how isolated i felt during the whole bdd

i didn’t really click well with anyone and everytime i tried socializing i felt like i wasn’t interesting to the other person

i would go to events and be excluded from things and people would form groups without me

even the people i stayed with left me to go get breakfast but i get it bc i was running late

i was set on yale before i went to bdd but my experience made me hate it

i just felt so alone at yale but that was my experience ofc bdd and my experience isn’t representative of others feelings and the actual yale community

but i went back for harvard yale and honestly felt so much different bc this time i was with to my harvard friends
