An email was recently sent out by a Berkeley student not affiliated with admissions inviting all College of Engineering (COE) applicants to the Tau Beta Pi (TBP) Engineering Welcome Night. This email means nothing about your admissions status.

How do I know this email wasn’t sent because I got in?

Do you think everybody got in? Because it looks like everybody who applied to COE got the email. The TBP student likely meant to send out a test email not realizing they were given an incorrect mailing list of all current COE applicants.
