Take Yale off this list tbh none of your pros are important
So true I fear
as much as being rory gilmore irl would be fun... harvard. its the cheapest, it can support your dual interest bc of how interdisciplinary it is, and big campus = more diversity!! youll meet people from all over the U.S. and intls, and you already have a little group going in
my only comment here is definitely not caltech. i didnt apply bc the grind culture is toooo much.
i know yale matches offers from other ivies but you don’t seem to have many compelling reasons for yale
do you know if you would be able to visit? that’s the best way other than talking to students at the school
Do they? That’s good to know - I don’t have many reasons beyond the ones at harvard but I also don’t know anything abt it
I kind of assumed I wouldn’t get into anywhere so I didn’t look into them so anything I do know is surface level
harvard for sure
definitely try and do some in depth research—join the yale 29 server! there are student moderators you can ask questions to
i also think once you’re at the level of deciding between harvard or yale or any other hypsm the programs are marginal in difference and you should just go to the school that fits you best
so try and do some research to assess which school has the best fit for you
if youre quatn go to yale or harvard
Caltech or Yale
track in cali will be very very nice
I know someone who had to decide between Harvard vs MIT vs Caltech for math and he chose Caltech. He got Putnam honorable mention and one point away from Putnam fellow. Unfortunately, he ended up failing out of Caltech.
caltech stress culture is actually insane
