Location/Region: Definitely USA I'm still choosing states and cities depending on schools, costs, opportunities and safety
-
Major: I'm mainly going for mechanical engineering, (although my teacher suggested me mechatronics but it's a new field so not much freedom choosing) I do have a soft spot for chemistry so material science seems nice too
-
GPA/Test Scores: I'm in between of 3.5- 3.75
-
Curriculum: undecided but I do enjoy learning alone and a bit of project activities
-
Size: Small is better is what I belive for teachers to concentrate on less students so better education
-
Costs: I could do 20k per year that is all included such as living cost and school fees. (I will definitely need aid but idk how for international students)
-
Schools You're Currently Looking At: Michigan tech, Olin University, Texas A&M (if possible, MIT, Stanford and Yale)
-
Additional: I'm an international student from Southeast Asia planning to attend a school in US, and... I'm underage going off alone into the unknown. I do have a plan for community colleges so I do need suggestions on that as well.
I don't mind much about weather but a balance of hot and cold would be nice.
Overall a welcoming low cost environment with good quality school is enough TT
