Location/Region: City/Rural/Suburb? What country? Close to home or far away? And let us know what state you're in so we can recommend in-state schools!

My state NY through and through! However, I would like access to some city or town instead of a complete rural area. Super important to have access to a city with stores nearby (target, walmart, etc) or with local coffee shops. Just prefer to feel like I can have a day-out on the town after a rough week. I need to stay within the United States, I prefer the East Coast in comparsion to the Midwest or West, however. Although I am open to everything (except out of country-schools, haha).

Major: What would you want to major/minor in?

Computer Enginnering is my primary major! I would be open to ME however! I want to major in History or even possible Political Science/Literature. I would love the ability to have a strong humanties education alongside enginnering. It's my top concern!

GPA/Test Scores:

99.27% is my GPA & test optional! I currently have 4's in my APUSH, AP World. Taking Calc AB, Physics 1, AP Lit, and AP Gov. I only took AP CSA (not high enough for most enginnering schools) and AP Seminar (3, not submitting). It's def my school but my rigor is at max right now, only minus is not taking Calc BC but I literally don't have a lunch right now.. so!

Curriculum:

I would LOVE LOVE to do Mock Trial and or Debate at the school! Also, research as I have been doing currently. Apart from that, a few student orgs (stu gov, asian-american orgs, etc). But those two are my top wants within a school!

Size: Not too large so at max ~10k undergrads although not too quiet.. over ~1.5k undergrads. Although open to this.

Costs: Applying for merit although I am not considering costs too much.

Schools You're Currently Looking At: JHU, CMU, Northeastern, Columbia, Cornell, Rice, Olin, GT, Tufts, NYU, Stanford, UMich, UCLA, UBerekly, Vandy.

Addational: I would love the campus to be pretty but yeah!

northwestern ! seems to rly fit your desire for both humanities and engineering (very interdisciplinary culture) and has strong programs in both
