Location/Region: City or Suburban preferably. North Carolina would be nice, but open to out of state

Major: CS & Math

GPA/Test Scores: 3.9 UW GPA. 4.5 W GPA. SAT: 1500 (I'm a hs junior so I have time to improve it)

Curriculum: Computer Science courses(Specifically Game Dev or Software), Higher level math courses, Table tennis intramural club, acapella groups

Size: Small - Moderate size classes

Schools You're Currently Looking At: MIT, CMU, UNC, UNCC, NYU, NC State, Stanford

Additional: I'd prefer schools that accept previous credits both from AP and Dual Enrollment

# balmy tundra Which colleges do you have on your list at the moment?

I’m not looking at too much colleges atm cause I’m tryna focus on grades sat and ecs, and also I change my concentration every couple months 💀, but there’s the obvious good cs schools like cmu, cal, mit, uiuc, Stanford, etc.. What Id recommend doing is check out the rankings (DONT take this too much to heart, rankings are for the most part bs and rigged, just use it for a good sense of the prestigeish) then start narrowing it down by looking at what’s important to you. For example, if you like smaller classes look at the student faculty ratios of each school, if weather/campus is important then look into that or do some tours/watch videos or whatever… also spend some time just browsing the colleges website cause you can learn a lot from that, and I’d try to stay, for the most part, away from Reddit cause they can act really miserable on there

Your list looks solid right now, based on wanting smaller classes, id suggest private schools to add like cornell and brown, although idk what ur location/fit of school is
