So basically you’re gonna wanna commit somewhere you got in by May 1. If WashU lets you off the waitlist they’ll give you a new deadline (usually a few days or a week or so) to choose to commit. At that point you can commit to washu within that new deadline and then de commit from your initial school but you’ll lose the deposit
