Application Info
Johns Hopkins offers ED 1, ED 2, and RD through Common App and Coalition/Scoir in addition to being a QuestBridge Partner. The app fee is $70 or a fee waiver. The portal after you apply is here.
Test Score Policy
JHU is test-optional and allows for self-reporting of scores.
English Proficiency Exams
TOEFL, IETLS, or a DET score are recommended but not required for applicants whose primary language is not English or students who have not attended an English language school for the last three years.
Financial Aid
JHU is need-blind for domestic applicants and need-aware for international applicants, meeting 100% of demonstrated need for all. It does not offer loans by default, but interested families may use them if needed. The JHU cost of attendance and net price calculators can both be found on this page.
Interviews
Evaluative interviews are not a part of JHU's admissions process. Applicants interested in connecting with current JHU students for informational purposes may do so through Blue Jay Connection or JHU's virtual and on-campus events.
